Last year on September 13, the Louisville Metro Police went head to head in basketball against the Louisville Firefighters in the sixth annual Patriot Game.The Police won in an exciting contest of skill and determination! The score is now 4 games to 2, and the Fire are ready for the rematch – they want that championship trophy back! Don’t miss the next match coming Saturday, September 12, 2009! The game raises needed funds for The Healing Place, Kentucky’s largest homeless shelter addiction recovery program. Come support your local police and firefighters! Check out the results of this friendly rivalry year after year for the police and fire departments – it’s been a close call almost every time.
