Patriot Game VI will:
- Honor the men and women of our local police and fire departments and other first responders;
- Commemorate the anniversary and fallen heroes of September 11, 2001;
- Raise awareness and needed funds for The Healing Place, Kentucky’s leading homeless shelter/addiction recovery program.
Patriot Game VI features:
- Terrific basketball between our Police and Firefighters!
- A tribute to the 9/11 heroes, and to our local heroes as well
- A positive experience for more than 2,500 youth in attendance
- Free tickets and T-shirts to all youth! (ages 17 and under)
- A strong message about the great future available to those who say no to drugs and alcohol
- Fun and games on 5 extra indoor basketball courts!
- Free-throw competition for kids!
- 3-Point shooting competition for kids!
- Inflatables for kids!
- Step Team competition for youth!
- Large screens bring the excitement closer than ever!
- Celebrities signing autographs!
- Pizza lunch special for kids at the concession stands!
- And more!
Doors open: 11:00 a.m.
Games: 1:30 p.m. Metro Council vs. Louisville Sports Media Personalities
3:00 p.m. Pre-game ceremonies, teams warm up
3:30 p.m. Tip-off for Patriot Game VI – Louisville Metro Police
Dept. vs. Louisville Fire Dept.
